Steam Only, No Irons
Dresses must be steamed using a handheld steamer on low to medium heat. Irons are not permitted, as they can damage delicate fabrics and finishes.
Keep Away From Water and Perfume
Apply perfume before getting dressed. Do not spray perfume or allow water to contact the dress to prevent staining or damage.
Handle with Care Around Accessories
Be mindful of rings, bracelets, handbags, and nails when wearing the dress. Embellished and delicate fabrics can snag easily.
Hang and Store Safely
Use the inner loops to hang the gown on a wide hanger. Keep the dress in the garment bag in a dry, cool place.
No Cleaning or Spot Treatments
Do not attempt to wash, dry clean, or spot treat the dress. All professional cleaning will be handled after return.
No Smoke Bombs or Fire Props
Dresses must not be used near smoke bombs, sparklers, or fire-related props. Residue and burns are irreversible.
This requires a second person — ask your makeup artist or a friend for help while getting ready. Position the corset on your body and start lacing from the top down, criss-crossing the strings through each loop like shoelaces. Once you reach the bottom, pull the laces snug and tie them in a neat bow at the waist. The tighter the corset the nicer the fit. Make sure the corset sits comfortably and feels secure.
Keep the skirt in its garment bag until you arrive at your shoot location to avoid wrinkling. With help, step into the skirt and pull it up so it sits directly over the corset, covering it at the waist. The corset panel of the skirt should always be at the back. Start lacing from the top down in a criss-cross pattern, just like the corset top. Once tied, you can tuck the remaining bow or strings inside the skirt to keep the look clean. You are all set!
Leave the wrap skirt in the bag until you arrive at your location. Begin by centering the longest part of the skirt at the back of your waist, over your corset. Wrap each side around the body, securing it in place using the hooks on the waistband. Once it’s fastened, tie the provided satin belt over the hooks and into a bow at the back. Adjust the drape so the slit falls naturally and the skirt flows evenly for photos.
