Sizing and Fit

Our gowns are designed to fit beautifully as is — no alterations required. While not tailored to your exact body, they are highly photogenic and naturally flattering. Based on the measurements you provide, we’ll select the best size from our range. Many of our dresses include adjustable elements like corset backs or stretch panels. If your measurements are accurate, it’s very unlikely the dress won’t fit well enough for stunning photos.

Fit Expectations

Fit Expectations

Our gowns are made for the camera. That means they’re designed to look incredible even if the fit isn’t 100% custom. Slight looseness or snugness is completely normal and rarely noticeable in photos.

Simple pinning may be suggested for certain body types, but no alterations or permanent changes are allowed. We’ll help guide you toward the best-fitting option for your shoot.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

Follow the visuals and descriptions below to measure accurately. Use a soft measuring tape and avoid pulling too tight — the tape should sit flat and comfortable.

Bust

Bust

Where to Measure: Around the fullest part of your chest (nipple line), keeping the tape level across the back and front.

Tip: 99% of our dresses have bust padding, so do not wear a bra when measuring yourself!

waist

waist

Where to Measure: Around the narrowest part of your torso, typically above your belly button and below your rib cage.

Tip: Bend slightly side to side — the crease that forms is your natural waist.

Arm (Biceps)

Arm (Biceps)

Where to Measure: Around the upper arm, just below the shoulder and above the elbow.

Tip: Keep your arm relaxed and down by your side — don’t flex!

Hips

Hips

Where to Measure: Around the fullest part of your hips and butt, typically 7–9 inches below the waist.

Tip: Make sure the tape stays horizontal and doesn’t slide upward.
